Dr. Robert C. Rawdin obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University School of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency at Booth Memorial Hospital and received advanced education in prosthodontics at New York University. Dr. Rawdin has been providing prosthodontic (cosmetic and restorative dental services) to area residents in New York, NY, since 1986. Board certified, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, a Fellow of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and the Northeastern Gnathological Society, for which he recently served as president and program chair, and is now an executive board member. Dr. Rawdin has served as secretary, treasurer, and president of the Scarsdale Dental Society.
Dr. Rawdin is a public lecturer and published author. He is a former clinical assistant professor at NYU College of Dentistry in the Department of Prosthodontics and Occlusion and the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics. Dr. Rawdin has been listed in “Best Dentists in America” and “American Research Council Top Dentists” and voted “Best Dentist in Westchester” by Westchester Magazine. He is a member of the New York State Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Through his membership in The Dental Lifeline Network and NY State Dental Foundation, Dr. Rawdin provides donated dental services to the underserved public. An active member of the community, Dr. Rawdin is a longtime supporter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Diabetes Association, Abbott House, and Soldiers for the Truth. In his spare time, he enjoys bike riding and skiing.
Dr. Andrew Koenigsberg co-founded Gallery57Dental in 2006, as part of his commitment to create fast, and precise dental care in a comfortable environment. Gallery57Dental was the first integrated CAD/CAM dental office in the world placing it at the forefront of modern dentistry. Dr. Koenigsberg’s passion for dentistry is reflected in his personal and compassionate relationships with his patients and his drive to provide unsurpassed treatment and care.
Dr. Koenigsberg leads the way in utilizing current technologies to transform a patient’s experience of dentistry and the quality of their care. He is a key opinion leader for several large dental manufacturers. He has also lectured and taught hands-on courses with an emphasis on CAD/CAM, implants and integrating technology in the dental practice.
Dr. Koenigsberg graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1980. He completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Jamaica Hospital and a two-year specialty program in Prosthodontics at Montefiore Hospital. He taught pre-doctoral dental students at Columbia University as well as Maxilla-Facial Prosthetics at Montefiore Hospital’s Post-Graduate Prosthodontics Program.
Dr. Koenigsberg’s passion and drive are reflected in all areas of his life. He is an avid skier and tri-athlete and has competed in many marathons and Ironman events.[/fruitful_tab]
Dr. Samantha Rawdin received her Bachelor of Science in 2009 from the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2013 from Midwestern University in Arizona. She completed her Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. During this time, she won three poster competitions at the American College of Prosthodontists New York section annual meeting. She is currently in the process of completing her Board Certification Examination in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Rawdin is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Northeastern Gnathological Society, the American Dental Association and the New York County Dental Association. Her hobbies include baking, skiing and cheering on the Michigan football team. Go Blue!
Dr. Spiro Balaouras received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1988 from New York University’s Washington Square and University College and his D.D.S. Degree in 1991 from New York University David B. Kriser Dental Center College of Dentistry. He combined his undergraduate and graduate studies at New York University by attending the University’s B.A. / D.D.S. Joint Degree Program (Seven Year Program). At the College of Dentistry, Dr. Balaouras was very active in student government, serving as Vice President and Accreditation Representative of his class, Student-Faculty Policy Planning Committee member, Freshman Orientation Steering Committee member, and Student Advisory Program member.
In 1992, Dr. Balaouras completed his postdoctoral study at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center’s Department of Oral, Maxillofacial, and Dental Surgery (General Practice Residency), and for several years served as Assistant Attending Dentist within that department. In an effort to provide dental care to New York City’s youth less likely to seek care, Dr. Balaouras worked for several years at The Children’s Aid Society Community School (I.S. 218) in Washington Heights. Dr. Balaouras is a current member of the following organizations: American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, New York County Dental Society, and the Northeastern Gnathological Society.
Dr. Balaouras was born in a small town on Greece’s mainland, which he often visits with his family. He reads, writes, and speaks Greek fluently.
