We Bridged A Gap In A Few Hours – And Saved The Day!

By: Dr. Andrew Koenigsberg

Stephen Y. traumatized his front tooth as a 10 year old. 23 years later, the weakened tooth suddenly broke off at the gum line.  No one wants to be without a front tooth. Temporary restorations often don’t look great, may come loose and add expense.

Stephen had been seeing a local dentist for the past seven years but remembered our in-office lab and decided to come to Gallery57Dental for treatment. Working with our team of lab technicians, we designed and fabricated a custom, bonded bridge in under 24 hours.

Stephen Y. returned the next afternoon and the tooth was extracted, the infection removed and a bonded bridge attached. Thanks to our in-house lab, we are able to complete most restorations in a single visit. In this case, we needed an evening because we used Zirconia which is sintered overnight. Stephen Y. was able to get a great looking, final bridge in a day, saving the hassle and expense of a temporary.

“To be honest I’m a little afraid of going to the dentist but this office makes is so much better…when I need to have this office makes is so much better…when I need to have anything done it gets explained to me which takes a way a lot of the apprehension……laying out all the pros and cons so I can make a good decision…the procedures are all really quick and painless…it’s so much more pleasant coming here than any other doctor or medical place that I’ve ever been to.” Stephen Y.
