A loose tooth can turn a neat profit in this economy according to a new survey. American kids are getting an average of $2.42 left under their pillow per tooth, which is up from $2.10 in 2011.
The survey is dubbed The Tooth Fairy Index, because the rise or fall of a tooth’s value is relative to the world stock markets. If the market and economy are improving, parents can afford to give a little more per tooth.
Experts say that this year’s results indicate that better financial times are ahead!
