Vets were forced to perform high-level dental treatment on Kelly, a 15-foot giraffe, at a Scottish safari park. After checking her teeth they found that food was caught in a gap of her mouth, not letting her digest food properly. She is now fully recovered and back on her feet!
Food getting stuck between your teeth can be a pain in the neck, even if you’re not a giraffe. It can be a sign of gum disease or cavities, causing gums to swell and creating a lot of pain. If you are experiencing this problem, bring it to the attention of your dentist.
